On July 24, it was announced that support for an animal shelter in Ukraine, which the author visited in April 2022, has been suspended and that the shelter is now in dire straits. It is not only this shelter that has stopped providing support, but many other support activities, including soup kitchens for displaced people, have begun to come, and it seems that displaced people in neighboring countries are being encouraged to become independent despite the current lack of jobs.
The facility is located in the northwestern part of Kieu, where many animals lost their lives as a result of the Russian military invasion in February of the same year, when the facility was hit by an airstrike from an aircraft. It was then under Russian military control until the end of March.

It is sad and makes you want to cry 😭
I didn’t even feel this sad when we were bombed.
There were so many plans, and now we can’t get money for the essentials.

They promised to rebuild the bombed aviaries, but now there is silence. And we believed them and just wasted our precious time. Now it’s autumn and half of our dogs are just running around in the woods because we have nowhere to put them (!

From past submissions, the building is definitely better than when the author visited. In addition, the feed for the protected animals is a high quality product, which may have been a factor behind the suspension of all support, as support money was allocated to the facility and high quality feed, not to neutering and other requirements.
However, the protected animals remain blameless, and it is presumed that the lack of funds for operations is a fact.
